Saturday 26th May The Olympic Torch Relay Swansea Plymouth Street, Swansea

Olympic fever is set to hit Britain in the summer of 2012 as the Olympic Flame makes its journey across the UK during the torch relay. Together for Mental Health - A Cross-Government Strategy for Mental Health and Wellbeing in Wales

The Welsh Government are asking for comments on their strategy for the future of mental health services in Wales.

‘Together for Mental Health’ is the new mental health strategy for Wales, covering people of all ages. It aims to address the needs of people with mental health problems or a mental illness, whilst also improving mental wellbeing.
The  strategy is intended to improve outcomes for service users, carers and their families.  To encourage the "recovery and reablement" approach, which aims to help people live independently and achieve their full potential.

Health Minister Lesley Griffiths launches mental health strategy


A 12-week consultation is being launched on a Welsh government strategy to improve mental health services.

Health Minister Lesley Griffiths said the Together for Mental Health strategy aimed to "tackle stigma" and "ensure vulnerable groups have equal access to care and treatment".
