7th July U.K. to Beijing - by Bicycle Torch Theatre St. Peters Road Milford Heaven Pembrokeshire
Why don’t you fly?’ asked a bemused friend when Chris Smith stated his intention to cycle across the planet. For thirteen months Chris’s lungs and legs were to power him into headwinds, across deserts and up to mountain passes - and a wonderfull indomitable, reliable and adaptable source of power they proved to be.
Accompanying his tale with breathtaking slides, Chris speaks about the importance of having a dream, about connecting with one’s passions, about recognising and seizing opportunities – and about how he wore out three sets of tyres, three chains, two pairs of boots, and fell off the bike six times
